Palm oil is an excellent natural ingredient that you’ll find used almost everywhere in the world and why not, it has some excellent environmental sustainability and health nutrition benefits and properties that helps in storing the products for better shelf life. There are some more awesome benefits of palm oil which isn’t still known to many. And may be this is the reason,you’ll find lots of myths attached to it recently.

Some myths around palm oil that need not be believed!
As famous palm oil is in almost all parts of the world, it also attracted lots of baseless myths about it.
And it’s our responsibility to not to believe any such myths without knowing the proper facts about the same. After all, this oil is benefiting us in many ways. So, let’s read about the myths surrounding

Palm oil harms nature!
If you would have done your homework properly, you would have known that palm oil is the fastest
growing plant on Earth. And if you are utilizing it in any ways, you aren’t harming the environment
much. It can be grown very quickly and it’s usage nowhere leads to deforestation or any kind of
harm to nature. It’s absolutely eco-friendly option and doesn’t disturb the nature’s cycle in any ways.

Palm oil has no health benefits!
While you are always reading about the health benefits of other oils, palm oil isn’t considered as a
healthy option. But actually palm oil is the unsung hero that has many hidden health benefits and
doesn’t contain much cholesterol and because of its distinct property, it’s molecules doesn’t break
even at high temperature which is actually a great health benefit in itself. This proves that the myth of it not having any health benefits stays unrealistic.

Palm oil shouldn’t be used for cooking!
Palm oil is rich in Vitamin E (tocopherols & tocotrienols). In fact, no other vegetable oil has as much Vitamin E compared to PalmOil. You need palm oil is because it supplies fatty acids as well as important fat-soluble micronutrients like Carotenoids (including pro-vitamin A), vitamins D, E and K. Palm oil is only needed for edible basis!
Yes, palm oil is great in edible context. It can be added to food to preserve them for long and
increase their shelf life. But this isn’t all. It is added to your cosmetics, perfumes and many other
daily usage items as well. Actually, you are using palm oil almost daily in your regular routine and you don’t even know about it. Mostly all cleaning agents has palm oil derivatives.
